When I hit 27 I felt a shift in my body that I couldn’t understand. I was also the most stressed I’d ever been.
Exhaustion,
Muscle fatigue,

cystic acne on my chin...
And a super irregular period.
I was way too young to feel so exhausted to the bone, drained from daily activities and so extremely sore from even the lightest training session.
I’ve been a personal trainer for over 7 years, practicing everything I preached… and still felt like I couldn't get out of bed, I was gaining body fat, and all I wanted to do was eat 🙁

I went from eating 1400 calories a day, thinking I could never eat big meals and had to restrict my diet from sweets but then I found my maintenance calories which was 2000-2200 calories and I found myself sleeping through the night which I hadn’t been able to do for a while, I wasn’t gaining weight even though I was eating more calories than before and I realized I had SO much more energy now that I was making sure my body was getting the nutrients and calories it needed to feel good.
Now I feel like I’ve found a balance and healthy way of cutting calories so that I can lose weight and not ever feel like it’s impossible to again.
Before starting this program with Mel I was always exhausted, and wondering why I couldn’t make any progress. I was in the gym 4xs a week, working on my feet 8 hours a day and consistently eating 1700-1800 calories for years. With her help I learned that I was really underrating and not nourishing my body to reach my goals. Also the idea of cycle syncing wasn’t even something that crossed my mind before working with her.
Now I know how to eat to reach my goals which has lead to extraordinary food freedom. My energy is up and I know that when I feel a shift that I’m probably entering a new phase of my cycle (and that I can eat even more!!!!)
